The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to work effectively in a care setting. It aims to promote good practice and respect for diversity in lifestyle, religion and culture in care work. Participants will learn about the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of care worker and how to work effectively in Multi-Disciplinary teams. There is a strong focus on this course on reflective practice and the role of personal development and goal setting in the career of the care worker.
