6 years ago on the 11th of May 2011 Frontline Training Services was established. Our goal was to develop new standards in carer training in Ireland and to provide caregivers with an engaging and interactive training experience to develop empathetic and competent caregivers. Over those years with the support of employers like Home Instead Senior Care, Frontline Training and Irish Times Training have supported hundreds of caregivers on their journey towards achieving a QQI Level 5 Health Care Qualification.
We have worked with the most amazing and impressive groups of caregivers. We are so privileged to have witnessed them in action. Their kindness and their compassion towards each other demonstrates their potential for kindness and compassion in the workplace. They are the epitome of all that we can hope for in caring for older people. We have been so fortunate to participate with them on their journey in social care. We have shared in their camaraderie, their laughs, their endless sense of humour, their moments of reflection on their practice, their moments of despair when facing those dreaded assignments for QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person. We have watched them go beyond this despair and often move on to complete their QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health Service Skills. Their resilience and interest in this job is relentless. They have always welcomed our ‘hands on’ approach, true to their and our ethos that we must ‘learn it, live it, love it and teach it’.
If you have been part of the Frontline journey, on behalf of all those on the Frontline Team, thank you for including us on your journey.
